Ma & Pa Family History Guide

Keep this simple. Ma/Pa leaders do not need to teach genealogy. They can invite youth to think about family, faith, sacrifice, and who they are becoming.

  • Ask open questions. Do not pressure youth to share private family details.
  • Honor youth who may not know much family history.
  • Invite them to think about spiritual heritage, chosen family, mentors, and future descendants.
  • Keep discussions short and natural during rest stops or evening reflection.
